What's happening in the Shed?
Wells-next-the-Sea Men's Shed
“Shed Happens” ...... The concept of a Men’s Shed is a social centre, a place to pursue practical interests at leisure, to practice skills and enjoy making and mending. They’re about social connections and friendship building, sharing skills and knowledge, and of course a lot of laughter. It is all about improving wellbeing and is an outlet for those living in isolation, along with helping support community projects where we can. So, the government advice to social distance and/or self isolate is in direct conflict with our mission. Common sense tells us this is the right thing to do if we are to fight this invisible war. So we have closed the Shed indefinitely but keeping things under constant review.
We have an order book of a number of Community Projects, some time critical and we are looking into ways of fulfilling these best we can as our shedders have retired to their satellite sheds. If you would like to discuss the progress of your project place give us a ring on 07486 524603. More updates will be posted as time passes, meantime stay safe and keep washing those hands!

The heavy artillery arrives to help prepare for a new arrival. Bob the Builder arrived with his trusty JCB to help prepare the foundations for the Wells Men's Shed new arrival. The ground works were quickly prepared between recent storms as we await our new arrival. More details will emerge later but the Shedders are getting excited, definite case of watch this space!.......
